About the Sangham

సంఘం గురించి

British Indian Telugu Sanskrithi Sangham began in 2024, started by a group of Telugu families who wanted somewhere for their children to hear the language spoken outside the house.

We celebrate the festivals — Ugadi, Sankranti, Bathukamma, Deepavali — and we run classes in Telugu, classical dance and music. Nothing here is professional. It is families booking halls, cooking too much food, and teaching the alphabet on Saturday mornings.

If you are Telugu and living in Britain, this is your community. If you are not, you are welcome anyway.
